Maryville Heirloom House

This garden began with a story. Our client described childhood afternoons spent in this very garden with her grandmother. Our job was to honour that memory while creating something new. A contemporary extension by Anthrocite Architecture opened the primary living spaces to the outdoors.

Locally sourced sandstone steppers lead through to a private garden. Using an Australian native palette we have focused on using different textures to play off the architecture of the house and create year-round interest. A tranquil courtyard features exotics that can cope with deep shade.
